Wouldnโt it be lovely to display your fresh, gorgeous flower arrangement for others to see and appreciate?
Here are a few tips to keep them fresh and blooming! In fact, youโll be able to lengthen your fresh bloomsโ lifespan for up to a week.
Weโre rooting for you!
Grab a vase of your choice
If you received a fresh bouquet, these would have come with a water bag, so remove this and transfer your blooms to your chosen vase.
Change the water often
Do change the water every 2 days
Just like us, flowers need clean water. We canโt have them drinking ghastly waterโฆ That would be wa-terrible.
Cut the Stems
Between each water change, cut 1-2 inches from the bottom of the flower stem
Cut these diagonally for better water absorption. You wouldnโt want your flowers to suffocate at the bottom.. Theyโre not mermaids.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Unlike humans, we can use sunscreen to protect ourselves from the sun.
So, keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and heat for this will cause the flowers to wilt.
Remove zombie petals and leaves
Lastly, remove any wilted or dead petals and leaves to avoid soiling the other flowers.
Having a single petal or leaf contaminate the entire bunch wouldnโt look good on ayone (but donโt worry, it can be our little secret).
